The Aim of this act was to identify illegal migrants from Pakistan, Afghanistan and Bangladesh.

WHO GETS THE INDIAN CITIZENSHIP?

Now the question comes that for whom will the INDIAN CITIZENSHIP is granted. It will grant citizenship to the non-Muslims Hindu, Sikhs, Christian, Buddhists, Jains and Parsis who arrived in India from Afghanistan, Pakistan and Bangladesh who arrived in India before December 31, 2014.

As Assam being the border state problem of illegal immigration are more and Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP) assured that all Indian states will come in NRC, but Assam was not find approved in NRC conditions.
